When and where

Let’s celebrate love

Dear all,

As many of you know, we have been looking forward to this moment for a long time — the day when we will say our heartfelt “yes” and begin a life filled with love and happiness together. Now that this day has finally arrived, we cannot wait to share it with you.

To begin the celebrations, we warmly invite all guests to join us for welcome drinks on June 12th, 2026, at The View. We hope you can join us for an evening of conversation and good company ahead of the wedding day.

The wedding ceremony will take place on June 13th, 2026, at the Saborna Crkva in Belgrade, starting at 4:00 PM.

After the ceremony, we warmly invite you to join us for the celebration at the beautiful Kalemegdanska Terasa restaurant, beginning at 5:00 PM.

All that remains is to once again invite you to be with us, to support us, and to share this magical day that will forever remain in our hearts.

With love,

Katarina & Harrison

Important information

A quick Belgrade guide

In case you would like more information about Belgrade,
we have prepared a quick guide with some recommendations offering a mix of history,
culture and scenic places to explore.

The venue of the reception is in the heart of the city, Kalemegdan Fortress and Park;
a dedicated visit here is well worth it to see the ancient fortress,
enjoy views over the Sava and Danube rivers, including from the Pobednik monument.

For a relaxed day of walking there are plenty of options.
The lively Knez Mihailova pedestrian street leads through the historic centre,
lined with shops, cafés and architectural landmarks.
Nearby, the old town streets around Skadarlija, Belgrade’s bohemian quarter,
have charming cobblestone lanes, traditional restaurants and a sense of the city’s past.
Leading off Skadarlija, the street Strahinjića Bana is known for its cafés and nightlife.

An alternative to the old town is the new Waterfront along the river,
with modern promenades and scenic walks ending by the Galerija shopping centre.

Spiritual and architectural highlights include the impressive Temple of St. Sava,
one of the largest Orthodox churches in the world. From the venue of the welcome drinks on Friday,
The View, there is a spectacular lookout over this building,
but the internal space is equally as impressive.

For royal history, Beli Dvor and other palaces offer a glimpse of Serbia’s past.
There is also plenty of great museums for culture and history lovers,
such as the Nikola Tesla Museum, showcasing the life and work of the famed inventor,
and the Yugoslavia Film Archive.

Within a 30 minute drive out of Belgrade there is Avala Mountain
which features a tower and viewing lift with panoramic vistas.

For people staying in Serbia for longer and wanting to venture further outside the city,
please reach out for additional recommendations!

Here is a list of restaurants we have enjoyed during our stays in the city, click the names for more details.

Restoran Kolo

Klub Književnika

Café at Hotel Moskva

Local specialties to try

Breakfast – Visit a local bakery (pekara / пекара), especially for burek

Traditional dishes – Pljeskavica/ćevapi, karađorđeva

Sweets & snacks – Krempita, palačinke

Drinks – Hladan Nes (iced coffee) at a local café or a cocktail at one of the local bars

Additional Tips

A few bits of advice for people visiting the city for the first time!
Airport Taxis – Official taxi fares from the airport are fixed by zone. Please check the price list at the taxi booth inside the terminal (Belgrade city centre, includes the hotels provided above, is Zone 2).

Cash & Currency – Cash is widely used, so we recommend carrying some, ATMs are available at the airport if needed. Note, the local currency is Serbian Dinars not Euros.

Public Transport – Public transport within Belgrade is currently free of charge.

Mobile Roaming – Serbia is outside the EU, so please check your mobile roaming plan in advance.

For the reception – At some point during the night we should expect some traditional Serbian folk dancing, for those unfamiliar here’s a couple of links which might be useful to get practicing!
